Suresh Babu reacts to Ticket Price Issue

Producer Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions has been highly vocal about the harmful practices in Telugu Cinema and changes in release system, theatrical business as well.
He doesn't want to spend extra budget on unnecessary things in films and got a name for a being the one who keeps in check every aspect according to the planned budget.
He reacted to Ticket price issue in AP and said, "Film Business is just a 1000 crores business and not a huge one for Government to worry about as much as one it is being looked upon now. It is just one of many medium scale industries in India and it comes under leisure.
"Government should not see big budget films and small budget films with one eye. Different things have different prices and price range varies with quality. For films that is the case with big budget and small budget films.
"We tried hard to work around with the new guidelines but if the rates doesn't change all theatres will be shut down soon. I am not able to understand why there are so many regulations for small business like Cinema. Indian Central and State Governments are not thinking about welfare of Cinema Industry.
"No one can force someone to buy a ticket or watch a film. Black ticket system will exist only for first three days or a week. Just showing that as the big hurdle, these kind of restrictions are not a good sign for betterment of the business. We hope Government will listen to our concerns with a kind ear and heart soon."
