Will Long Run Time hurt Suriya's 24?

Few films such as Suriya-Vikram Kumar's '24' demand more run time. Will this aspect have a huge impact on the Box Office outcome of the Rs 75 crore project?
As per highly placed sources, '24' run time has been locked and its up to 164 minutes.
Considering the fact that Suriya hasn't seen much success in the recent past, This is huge gamble. Other than 'Singham' franchise, None of his films including 'Rakta Charitra', '7th Sense', 'Brothers' & 'Mass' were successful in the past six years.
However, The whole team of '24' is very confident about the success. The sci-fi flick is carrying tremendous positive buzz for now and its should be racy enough to continue the momentum post the release.
