Suriya's Aakasame Ne Haddura Is Most-watched South Film

With cinemas came to shut down due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, some big-ticket films made their way to digital streaming platforms for a direct-to-digital release. Not all films that were released on the OTT platforms managed to impress the audience.
As per the latest update, given by an entertainment portal, Soorarai Pottru, a Tamil action drama biography, is the most-watched south film on the OTT. Directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya under his banner '2D Productions', the film was released through Amazon Prime Video on 11 November 2020, coinciding with the eve of Diwali festival.
On the other hand, Nani and Sudheer Babu starrer 'V', directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti, has become the most-watched Telugu film on OTT this year. Though the film got a flop talk, it managed to grab the attention of the audience for being the first big release from Telugu industry on an OTT platform.
