Suriya in YSR biopic?

The director of Anando Brahma is huge fan of late leader and ex-Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh state.
Many people love the leader for his straight forwardness and daring nature. His welfare schemes have made him so popular that he won the election as an incumbent Chief Minister.
His son, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, started a new political party, YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh, to continue the legacy of the leader.
A biopic on YSR has been in plans from a long time and Mahi V Raghav is finally getting it into a shape. He approached Tollywood stars but they did not take up the roles due to fear of Local Government and controversial subject.
So, Raghav approached Mammotty to star as YSR and Suriya to star as Jagan. Both of them have given their nod to star in the film it seems
Saranya Ponvanan will appear as YS Vijayamma as per the media reports. Ab official confirmation is still awaited from the director and producers.
