Apart from playing versatile roles as actor Hero Suriya is known for his social service. Suriya used to do multiple social service activities through his Agaram Foundation. This foundation was started on 2006 by Suriya with a vision of bringing a significant positive change in the socio-economic status of the rural society in Tamil Nadu by offering quality education to the deserving studentsHis Agaram foundation took major role in relief activities during Chennai floods. During the flood he launched Yadhum Oorey activity to create awareness of protecting our environment.
Now he is planning to start Yadhum monthly magazine that points out the necessity of the good environment.The main aim of the magazine to sow seeds about our environment. The first edition of Yadhum magazine will be released tomorrow at Suriya's alma mater Loyola College.
Suriya earlier stated disaster of Chennai floods had taught us lesson to be aware of our environment. Meanwhile the actor is getting ready to take promotions for his upcoming sci-fic ’24’ movie.
