Sushant Singh Rajput has spent ample time with Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni prior to the shoot, during the coarse of filming and while promoting 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'. So, He is someone who could talk about the unknown secrets of Captain Cool.
During the promotional campaign, Sushant revealed Dhoni is someone who would always lives in the present, spontaneous, never bothered about fame & money. That's one aspect which made he very special. Interestingly, Even Sushant is like that in real life.
Sushant claims he is a die-hard fan of Dhoni. He first seen MSD play in 2004 and met him for the first time with the help of his brother-in-law in 2007. The Bollywood Hero even got a photo clicked with Dhoni then. It was because of this experience Sushant was so excited since he was approached for the biopic.
In the recent past, Sushant Singh Rajput has turned down about 12 films which include Hrithik Roshan's 'Mohenjo Daro'. He have no regrets and happy to be signing Dhoni's biopic.
