No Updates Over Vijay Devarakonda's Taxiwala

No updates are coming from Vijay Devarakonda's much awaited movie Taxiwala. A teaser was released and it was then said that the film could release either in May or in June. Then, suddenly updates have stopped coming. Even a July release appears difficult now. Two weeks ago, Vijay Devarakonda said on social media that the film would soon release. But, then there's no news at all. Even he has gone silent.
Some sources say that Geetha Arts, the producers, were not happy with debutant director Rahul Sankrityayan's taking and want some parts to be re-shot. But, there is no confirmation of anything.
Interestingly, Vijay Devarakonda has signed five films after Arjun Reddy. Not one of them have seen the light of the day. More delays could seriously affect Vijay's career. The unit needs to understand that promotions are key to the success of any film and should provide updates on a regular basis.
