Colours Swathy career was going smooth in Telugu until 'Tripura' happened to her. As the film turned out to be a dud at the box office, film offers decreased for her. She came out of the shock soon and she is doing a film with Sidhu of 'Guntur Talkies' fame now. Aditya is debuting as a director with this film. On the other hand, she got an​other​ offer in the remake of a Tamil film.
Director Chinni Krishna, who made films like 'Veedu Teda'.. 'Brother of Bommali' has chosen Tamil hit film 'Aandavan Kattalai' for the remake. Vijay Sethupathi, Ritika Singh played lead roles in the original. It was directed by a National Award winning director Manikandan. Released in 2016, the movie became a super hit in Tamil.
