Is Colors Swathi a bigger star than Kalyan Ram? Anyone would raise the same doubt after knowing about the No. Of Screens allotted for 'Sher' and 'Tripura'.
While Kalyan Ram's 'Sher' released in around 650 screens Worldwide, 'Tripura' will be opening in nearly 1,000 screens. Nizam Distributor Abhishek Pictures is planning the release in close to 250 screens.
What could be the reason? Success Rate of Horror Comedy genre and the fact that its Geethanjali fame Raja Kiran's 2nd Film helped 'Tirpura' in big way. In addition, 'Sher' is carrying poor pre-release buzz and it eventually limited the screen count to a mere 600-odd.
Made with a budget of Rs 6 crore, 'Tripura' Makers have already pocketed Rs 10 crore (Theatrical Business - Rs 6.5 crore, Satellite Rights - Rs 3.5 crore) before the release. Hope, 'Tripura' live up to the hype around it!
