Sye Raa Dubbing Artist Turns MGR

'Roja' and 'Bombay' fame popular actor Aravind Swamy who was recently seen in Mani Ratnam's directorial 'Nawaab' is now going to play a crucial role in a biopic this time. The actor had recently dubbed for Chiranjeevi's character in the film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
As per the latest reports, Aravind Swamy is all set to get into the shoes of the legendary Tamil actor and former Tamil Nadu chief minister MG Ramachandran in 'Thalaivi' movie. It is known that 'Thalaivi' is the much-awaited biopic on veteran actress and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha. None other than Bollywood firebrand Kangana Ranaut is on board to play Jayalalitha's role in the film. MGR who is considered as Jayalalitha's political mentor played a crucial life in her political and acting careers. Popular actor Aravind Swamy is now going to play that role in the film.
AL Vijay is helming this project. The shooting will go sets from November. The movie which is slated for 2020 release will be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages and is jointly produced by Vishnu Induri and Shailesh Singh.
