No doubt, Ram Charan has spent more than the market for Sye Raa and he wanted to see his father's dream fulfilled with the film.
It was Megastar Chiranjeevi who hinted to the director and producer, duo to look at Uyyalavada Narsimha Reddy script by Paruchuri Brothers which has been waiting for the actor for 12 years.
Director Surrender Reddy went on his own research for the story for 6 months and then did some changes to the original story before going ahead with it.
Ram Charan and Surrender Reddy wanted to do a commercial stylish action film but Chiranjeevi wanted them to look at this one. They both did think that a 'x' amount will be sufficient but it grew to 'x+y' it seems.
So, what is that 'x+y'? Some are saying it is 150 crores and some are saying 225-250 crores and few are saying 300 crores. Saaho budget from 225 crores went to 350 crores during promotions.
Now, will the same happen to Sye Raa or will we know the right figure? Surrender Reddy did not say the figure, Ram Charan tried to talk about the scale than figures and Chiranjeevi thanked his son. So, who will give us right answer? Time, may be.
