Junior & Senior Heroines At South Conclave
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Jan 2018 7:39 AM GMTIndia Today Conclave South 2018 was held in Hyderabad. The event took place for two days, and a lot of topics were brought to the discussion. Cinema is also a part of the conclave, and many people have participated in the debate. One sight that caught the attention of many is the young heroines of the current generation sharing stage and a picture with the yesteryears star heroines. Taapsee Pannu and Kajal Aggarwal shared the same stage with Khushboo and Gauthami yesterday to talk about the women issues and various aspects of life.
The discussion at the event is all about the evolution of the cinema and the radical change that has been witnessed by us regarding the several aspects like making, designing, execution, characterisation, styles of dressing and a lot more about the work that matters in the industry.
Taapsee Pannu, who made her debut with Jhmmandhi Naadham came up with a weird argument that men come to theatres to lust over women on the screen. She added that more women must come to theatres to lust over men and their hot bodies. If we look at the statement she made, it does not make sense at all. Instead of suggesting the ways to come over the objectifying women part, she came up with an idea of telling to do the reverse. Even Kushboo said that she lusted on Hrithik Roshan in ‘Jodha Akbar’ when he bared his back. Her statement means there is objectifying men too in the cinema and both are equal.
