Akshay Kumar, the actor who has been talked about most these days due to his films and National Award win, came out with strong reply for all critics who have been taking an issue with his win. At first, he clarified that he had nothing to do with the jury choosing him for the year, 2016.
He said he neither bribed them nor did he influenced any jury member. Still with resistance and trolls growing each day, Akshay decided to come up with another statement. The actor said, " I did not win a National Award overnight and it took me 26 years to achieve that. If somebody feels I should not get this award, please go ahead take it away from me."
His reaction does seem legit but Priyadarshan's answers and his explanation on why jury chose the actor for award is still unsatisfactory. Not giving much importance to these comments he is busy shooting for his movies, 2.0 with Shankar and Neeraj Pandey's Toilet EK Prema Katha.
