Malayalam political thriller titled 'Nayattu' which was released on 8th April 2021 became a very good hit. The gripping narration and strong performances stood as the film's major strengths and this film had a direct OTT release. It won the appreciation of many critics and audience and the remake rights of this project were grabbed by 'Geeta Arts' as per reports.
Karuna Kumar who shot to fame with movies like 'Palasa 1978' and the upcoming 'Sridevi Soda Center' is going to handle the megaphone for this project. The original was made on a limited budget with rich writing. The Telugu version is also going to follow the same path as the sources suggest that talented actors are being roped in.
Versatile actor Rao Ramesh and controlled actor Sree Vishnu are going to play the roles of two police officers in this film and there is a lady constable's role in the original and various names are being considered.
