Talk Of Town: Young Hero's Makeover!

'Karthikeya' is one film that's been creating a lot of positive buzz ever since its first look teaser got released. In fact, The theatrical trailer of this thriller is much better than the teaser. The story revolves around the mysterious deaths in connection with Subrahmanyam Swamy temple in Subrahmanyapuram.

Nikhil and Colors Swathi, the hit pair of Swamy Ra Ra, are back again. This young hero who was known for his highly energetic roles has undergone a makeover for 'Karthikeya' from look to body language to subtle performance. We could see the character of Karthikeya rather than Nithil in this movie. Swathi looks cute in the saree-clad avatar. Rao Ramesh and Tanikella Bharani's dialogues have a lot of depth.

Chandu Mandeti, though a debutante, never gives you such a feeling while watching the promotional material of 'Karthikeya'. Background score and Cinematography were the other positives of this thriller. Producer Venkat Srinivas should be commended for quality product.

Post 'Swamy Ra Ra', Nikhil has been very choosey about films and that seems to be paying off. 'Karthikeya' might earn him respect/accolades/success and take him to new heights as a actor. Oct 24th!
