Satyaraj was forced to apologise for the remarks he made on Cauvery Water Issue 9 years ago after Pro-Kannada Groups threatened to stall the release of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' across Karnataka. Tamilians who were hurt by these developments threatened to impose a ban on Kannada films in Tamil Nadu.
Vatal Nagaraju who led the Pro-Kannada Groups in the campaign against Satyaraj welcomed the ban on Kannada Films in Tamil Nadu. He claimed it is more like an opportunity for them to ban the release of Tamil Films in Karnataka.
Actually, The market of Kannada Films is very limited and they hardly make any impact in Tamil Nadu. Whereas, Tamil Films does extremely well in Karnataka. So, The ban is more like a blessing in disguise for Kannadigas.
Nobody knows what's gonna happen when 'Baahubali 2' hits the screens on April 28th. Let's be positive!!
