Tamil Hero Arya Upcoming Period Sports Drama

Crazy Tamil hero Arya's upcoming film 'Sarpatta' has skipped the theatrical release and is going straight ahead for an OTT release on July 22nd. Popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has bought the streaming rights and announced it with a tremendous poster.
We can see Arya giving the victory roar from the boxing ring and the 'Raja Rani' star is looking macho with ripped muscles. This film is getting released in Telugu and Tamil languages on Amazon Prime and it was given 'U/A 13+' by the censor board.
It is a period sports drama directed by 'Kaala' and 'Kabali' fame Pa. Ranjith. It is set in the 1980s and revolves around a clash between two clans in North Chennai. It has a lot of drama and also presents us with politics, oppression and other issues. Apart from Arya, we have Dushara Vijayan, Pasupathy, Anupama Kumar, Sanchana Natarajan playing the main lead while Santosh Narayanan is scoring the music. Neelam Productions and K9 Studios have jointly bankrolled this interesting project.
