Tamil star hero puts all hopes on this "Loop"

Tamil Star hero Silambarasan aka Simbu got emotional at the teaser launch of his new movie Maanaadu in Chennai. The movie is releasing as Loop in Telugu.
Venkat Prabhu, the director of films like Chennai 28, Saroja, Goa, Mangatha/Gambler and Suriya's Mass, Karthi's Biriyani is directing this film. Movie is based on time loop concept with political assassination of a Chief Minister as the plot.
Silambarasan is playing the lead role of an assassin who is caught in the time loop of killing Chief Minister and SJ Surya is playing the role of a police inspector who tries the solve the puzzle behind the loop.
Simbu had to shed 28 kilos to attain the look for the film. The actor got emotional and revealed that he had to work for 3 years for the film and he grew too obese due to depression.
He said he worked hard to bring himself out of that phase and he hopes to see happiness in his fans eyes post release. His recent releases flopped at the box office and Simbu apologised to his fans for lagging behind.
