Tamil Superstar On-board For RRR

The makers of RRR have announced that the film will be releasing on 13th October. They seem to sticking to their release plans, despite the delay in shoot. Whether or not RRR will make it to the theaters on 13th October is a big question, which is reeling in the minds of Telugu cinema followers. Meanwhile, here comes a really interesting update on the project.
Reportedly, Tamil superstar and music sensation, Anirudh is on-board for RRR. Well, he obviously won't be acting the the periodic action thriller but will lend his helping hand to the audio album. He is apparently rendering his vocals for a promotional song which will be unveiled by the makers of RRR very soon.
The unit had already started shooting for the promotional song and the lead cast is taking part in the same. In the meantime, the film's music composer, MM Keeravani has started orchestrating the promotional song. Recording sessions commenced recently and Anirudh took part in it. The young music sensation is crooning the promotional song and he will also be seen in the video. He will be singing the Tamil version of the song.
Keeravani is roping in renowned singers from various languages for this particular promotional song. Earlier today, the recording for the Hindi version was completed. Renowned music composer Amit Trivedi crooned the Hindi version. "What an absolute honour to have sung for the legendary @mmkeeravaani sir for RRR," Amit Trivedi tweeted after recording for the song. This promotional song will reportedly be unveiled by the makers on August 1st, which marks World Friendship Day. An official announcement on the same is awaited though.
RRR is in final leg of shoot and the unit will soon be flying to Georgia, Europe for one of the final schedules. Jr NTR and Ram Charan will take part in the schedule and this particular song will be shot in picturesque locales.
RRR is billed to be India's biggest action drama and it is being produced on a budget in excess of Rs 350 crores. DVV Danayya is producing the big-budget celluloid which features Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani and others in important roles.
