Ok with Male nudity but problem with female?
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Aug 2017 11:02 AM GMTCensoring system in India has become the matter of many grievances in our Indian Film Industry as many have been questioning the ways the board has been run and the rules. They have been asking to blur the bikini scenes and other cleavage scenes of actress in the movies these days. Now, many are asking what is the use of blurring them?
Tammareddy Bharadwaj, the senior most film activist asked the same. He asked, " What is the use of blurring I never understand? If you don't want people to concentrate on that particular person wearing skimpy clothes then you can just cut it but by blurring you are making people concentrate more on that than the scene. Well, the same rule is not applied for male nudity but why is it done for females?"
Recently, Pooja Hegde bikini scene has been blurred in the movie Duvvada Jagannadam too. For this question censor officials are simply saying, if you want lip locks and bikini scenes to be not cut or blurred then take an "A" certificate. But if you want an "U" then you have to cut them and if you want "U/A" then you have to agree for blurring, those are the rules! Well, blurring and censorship have once again become a big news..
