Actual Facts behind Ilayaraja-SP Balu issues

Tammareddy Bharadwaj responded on the Copyrights issue between Ilayaraja and SP Balasubramanyam. He came in support of SP Balu in this issue and went to say that Legendary Composer have the right to croon the songs whether they were composed by Ilayaraja or Someone Else.
Tammareddy: 'Producer gets the desired output from all the 24 Crafts & payments will be made to them depending on their work . So, The Producer should have sole right on the product. Unfortunately, Copyrights Act undermined the role of the Producer & gave full rights to people of all the Crafts to claim royalty. Javed Akhtar was instrumental in bringing Copyrights Act. Aamir Khan tried his best to stop it but he couldn't succeed. Had if our Film Bodies responded properly then, This situation wouldn't have arised Today'.
'In the West, Music is mostly the Private Albums composed by individuals/troupes and hence having the Copyrights Act is justified. In India, Music is mostly what we come across in movies but Private Albums aren't much popular here. And Producer makes payments for Composer, Lyricist and Singer for their contribution. Still, They claim royalty. How fair is it?'.
