Flashback: Tammareddy Vs Dasari

Tammareddy Bharadwaja spoke great about Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao in his birth anniversary celebrations. He shared about his relationship with Dasari and he also revealed some personal interactions between them. These things show the close relationship between Tammareddy and Dasari when the legendary director was alive.

Surprisingly, Tammareddy recently revealed that he had a dispute with Dasari a few years ago and he didn't talk to him for some period. He has revealed the flashback episode with Dasari in a recent interview. He said that he used to be very close to Dasari initially. Whenever he writes a story, he narrates it to Dasari first to take his opinion. Even Dasari garu used to narrate his story first to him. He said that Dasari used to give so much priority to him.

Tammareddy said that when Dasari wanted to introduce his disciple Relangi Narasimha Rao as the director, differences cropped up. He said "Dasari garu asked me to produce Relangi's debut film so I made all the preparations. But he didn't like Relangi's story and kept the project aside. When I went to Dasari garu to talk about it, he made me wait for an hour. I got angry and I got ready to produce the same story with Relangi titled 'Maro Kurukshetram'. But Dasari had other plans. He announced another film with another director in his own banner. But the story is the same. I announced the film with the same story later. The dispute turned serious. Finally, Dasari called me and spoke about it. He scolded me that 'I believed in you but you're doing so much hungama'. I also gave a strong reply. Somehow, the issue sorted out later."
