Filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja is known for his no-nonsense talk. He always speaks his mind on any topic and he never steps back when he has to criticise someone. He has recently attended Darsaka Ratna Dasari Narayana Rao birth anniversary celebrations. His remarks targeting a section of film industry persons at the event has created a sensation.
He said that some people tried to move close with Dasari when he was alive and they are not seen anywhere now. He said that it is good that that kind of crooks are not attending Dasari birth anniversary event. He also revealed a past interaction with Dasari regarding this type of people.
He said that when people like him used to visit Dasari house to meet him.. those people tried to overtake them. But they have skipped Dasari Jayanti celebrations. He remembered that he told Dasari once, "This is a horrible industry.. there are several crooks here. Leave them sir..what business we have with them?"
Tammareddy said that "Some people used to be after Dasari garu for fulfilling their works. When they are done with their works, they used to scold Dasari. When I told Dasari about it, he said - I know how people are playing dramas. Everybody is afraid as people like us are questioning.. otherwise, the industry will become worse." Tammareddy said that the same thing happened to Telugu film industry now. He said the people who have respect for Dasari have attended the birth anniversary celebrations.
