Pawan Kalyan - First Choice for Bhakta Kannappa!

Actor-cum-Filmmaker Tanikella Bharani revealed Pawan Kalyan is the first choice to play the lead in his ambitious project 'Bhakta Kannappa'.
In his recent interview, Tanikella shared, 'While shooting for 'Balu', I offered a CD of songs on Lord Shiva to Pawan Kalyan. I penned the lyrics and also lent my voice to the songs. The next day, Pawan hugged Me and told he had a unique experience while hearing the songs. PK said that he wasn't even in a mood to shoot the next day but had come to the sets as several artistes will come and lots of money gets wasted if he gives it a miss'.
That's when Tanikella Bharani narrated 'Bhakta Kannappa' to Pawan and he liked it immensely. However, He want Tanikella to wait until he completes two more films as he is going through a flop streak. Tanikella obliged but PK never called back him for reasons known best to him. Later, The Veteran thought of casting Sunil but it didn't work out. Now, Manchu Vishnu is determined to do this venture.
