Actress humiliated for 'dark' Skin Tone on TV Show

'It was surprising that only thing they found to roast was my skin tone. I sat through the first segment to figure out whether there would be something else they would find to roast but that was in vain,' she shared through Facebook post.
When Tannishtha raised her objection before leaving the show, The Show Organizers didn't bother to understand her plight. Instead, They asked if they could shoot her exit from the show. In her second attempt to explain, They simply conveyed the roast would be changed and new things will be tried. 'They were not making fun of me, they were bringing up a deep prejudice which we've faced since childhood,' she points out.
Colors TV apologized to the actress with a Tweet, 'Dear @TannishthaC It is rather unfortunate that what you had expected to be a fun and novel experience turned out to be traumatic for you'.
