Taraka Ratna Turns Tarak For 'Devineni'!

No other hero in Tollywood had the level of hype that Nandamuri Taraka Ratna had during the time of his debut. He turned everyone's heads by singing nine films at once even before the release of his first film. But 4-5 films in those nine did not materialize and with the rest ending up as failures, Taraka Ratna faded out from the industry.
He tried a lot to score a hit. He even did some villain roles in films like 'Amaravati' but nothing worked out. He got wiped away from people's memory but he is still coming up with films. Interestingly, he is coming up with a political drama titled 'Devineni'. Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma made 'Vangaveeti' which was based on Vijayawada politics. Now Taraka Ratna is coming up with a film titled 'Devineni' who is a rival family to the Vangaveeti family.
The first look was released recently and Narra Sivanaagu is directing this film. Senior composer Koti is giving music and what surprised many is that Taraka Ratna changed his name to Nandamuri Tarak in this film. It is well known that Jr NTR is called Tarak by everyone. Now with Taraka Ratna becoming Tarak, we need to see if the change in name leads to the change in his fate.
