Such an actor being in the doldrums and waiting for the success, seems to be a bad sign for our Industry. He proved time and again, that he is better than many actors we encourage on a daily basis.
May be not as a hero, but as a special character in the film, he can prove himself as one of the better actors out there. He may want to come out and do them, if the character is good enough.
So, young directors completely ignoring him, seems to be a box office decision rather than a helping decision for the film.
