Box-Office: Massive Profits For 'Taxiwala' Distributors

After facing a debacle with 'NOTA', young hero Vijay Devarakonda came back strong with his recent release 'Taxiwala'. Touted to be a supernatural comedy thriller, Rahul Sankrityan helmed the project with Priyanka Jawalkar as the female lead.
It has been three days and the movie is doing exceptionally well at the box office. On the first day itself, the film has collected a gross of Rs. 10.5 crores and reached the break-even point on the opening day itself. The trade is reporting that in just 3 days the movie made a total worldwide gross of Rs. 25 crores and distributors from AP and Telangana are enjoying huge profits. The distributor share in just 3 days is 8.35 crores and they are enjoying getting profits from the 2nd day of release. Even in the Overseas the movie has made a half million dollars in 3 days and is inching towards the million dollar club.
As there are no big releases coming up in the next few days, the trade is predicting that 'Taxiwala' can make even more profits.
