MLA's Complaint & Protests: RGV's Epic Reply!

'Vennupotu' Song from 'Lakshmi's NTR' created a sensation. It was trending on YouTube at 6th Position and attained over 1 million views in a short span. The Song received as many as 48,000 likes on the official channel.
While unveiling the controversial song, Ram Gopal Varma commented: 'Ae Deyyalanni Kalisi Devudu Lanti NTR Ni Telugu Prajalaku Lekunda Chesayo Vati Kadhe #LaxmisNTR'.
TDP MLA SV Mohan Reddy lodged a complaint against RGV's 'Vennupotu' Song in Kurnool II Town Police Station. He accused Varma of defaming Chandrababu Naidu with the inclusion of his images in the song. 'The meaning of the song conveys as if our CM had plotted a conspiracy and backstabbed Ex-CM NTR Garu. So, Kindly take necessary action against the maker of the movie, Ram Gopal Varma,' read the complaint.
In reply, Varma told he will be filing a counter complaint against the TDP Leader. Sharing a video of few people burning his photos, Ramu commented: 'They are not angry..They are smiling and enjoying..Can I also join the party please. Protestors are increasing the views of 'Vennupotu' song. The visible protestors of #LakshmisNTR will be less than 50, and 40 out of them are just side kicks. Net Viewers of 'Vennupotu' Song are around 1.5 million. People who aren't thinking that #LakshmisNTR isn't about Chandrababu shouldn't think that it's also not about NTR'.
