Supremely talented actress Revathi is celebrating her 55th birthday and the team of her upcoming film 'Major' has wished her with a special black and white poster. It is a classic picture with nothing extravagant and it perfectly magnifies the priceless smile of the veteran actress who amazed her with performances over the past few decades.
The three-time national award winner will be seen essaying the role of Adivi Sesh's onscreen mother in 'Major' which is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life during the '26/11' attacks in Mumbai back in 2008. Versatile actor Prakash Raj will be seen as his father while Revathi is going to show her acting prowess as the protagonist's mother in this real-life story. The makers described Ravathi as, "The one who personified motherly love in #Major."
'Major' is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka who made 'Goodachari' earlier with Sesh. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues while Adivi Sesh himself provided the screenplay. Maratha beauty Saiee Manjrekar will be making her Telugu debut with 'Major'. She will be seen as Sandeep's love interest while Telugu girl Sobitha Dhulipala is playing a key role in this film. This pan-Indian project is produced jointly by Sony Pictures India, A+S Movies and GMB Entertainments jointly.
