Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce Asks The Producers To Wait Till October!

As the theatres are not opened as of now in both the Telugu states, they are asking the producers to not opt for OTT releases till October keeping in mind the welfare of everyone. In case the situation remains the same in October, they agreed to release the film on online streaming services from then.
The general body meeting will be held on 7th July at the Telugu Producers Council, Conference Hall of Ramanaidu building in Hyderabad. The letter also indicates that the exhibitors of Telangana will plan out their course of action in case the producers do not agree to their requests.
Also, they request the government of Andhra Pradesh to reconsider the requests of exhibitors in Andhra Pradesh regarding the ticket pricing in theatres. They claim that many people may lose their livelihood if they keep low prices for tickets in the current times. This letter has been issued by the Telangana Film Chamber Of Commerce's honorable secretary Sunil Narang. We will get to know what the industry bigwigs decided in this general body meeting on 7th July.
