Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce request producers do not go to OTT Release

The OTT platforms became the destination for the films for release since the Coronavirus has left a deadly impact on the entertainment industry. The makers are still confused over whether to go for an OTT release or wait for the theatres to reopen.
To take a call on this, the members of the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce and the exhibitors met for a crucial meeting. The main motto behind chairing the meeting was to discuss the OTT platforms.
The Film Chamber had asked the producers to wait till October to not release the films on the OTT platforms and they can go ahead with the OTT release if the theatres won't open by then.
In the press note, the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce had urged the producers to follow their appeal to safeguard the interest of the industry. The body had called for a General Body meeting on the 7th of this month in this regard.
Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce had also requested Andhra Pradesh to look into the request placed by the Exhibitors over the admission rates of cinema theatres.
