N Shankar's Film Studio: Rs 25 Lakh For 5 Acres!

N Shankar maintained healthy relations with TRS Leadership since the statehood movement. He even made 'Jai Bolo Telangana' which is based on the struggles faced by the Telanganites in United AP. Finally, All that's being done by him during the tough phase is now paying off.
TRS Government allotted 5 acres of land at a nominal cost of Rs 5 lakh per acre at Shankarapally near IBS Hyderabad to establish a Film Studio. This might be for the first time, A Film Studio is being set up in Telangana by a Telanganite. N Shankar will hold the credit of being the first solo Telangana Studio Owner.
Most of the Film Studios in Hyderabad are owned by Bigwigs hailing from Andhra Region. Even the people from Andhra region had a role in the establishment of Saradhi Studios which belonged to Film Personalities of Telangana Region.
Post the bifurcation, Few films based on Telangana Culture and Dialect have been made. This Studio of N Shankar could only pave the way for a new beginning.
