2017 is going to end soon. In terms of movies, Baahubali: The Conclusion became a blockbuster at the box office this year. Both parts of Baahubali are the highest grossing movies in Telugu Film Industry till now. After taking a long gap of 9 years Megastar Chiranjeevi made his comeback with Khaidi number 150 and proved that he is still a boss. The movie topped the list in non-Baahubali records.
So many big projects of star heroes are scheduled to get released in the next year. The first movie to hit the theatres is power star Pawan Kalyan's much awaited film Agnathavasi. After scoring two blockbusters with Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi the crazy combination of Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan is going to create new records with this film. The next movie to hit the theatres is Prabhas's Saaho. As his previous movie Baahubali became the biggest hit in his career, his upcoming action entertainer Saaho also has so many expectations. Megapower star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam 1985 under the direction of Sukumar and stylish star Allu Arjun's Maa Peru Surya Maa Illu India are also going to hit the silver screens in the first quarter of 2018. Prince Mahesh Babu's who recently got a flop with Spyder is hoping to score a hit with Bharath Anu Nenu movie under the direction of Koratala Siva.
"Records keep on changing but the only thing we can say confidently is so many Telugu movies are going to join the Rs.100 crores club" said senior director Tammareddy Bharadwaj. All the movies that are slated to get released in 2018 have the capacity to become blockbusters. However, only one movie can top the list and become the movie of the year.
