Telugu Girls Will Be Chubby As They Eat Rice: Sri Reddy

It is a general opinion among the audience that Telugu filmmakers and heroes don't encourage Telugu girls as heroines. Moreover, they will be always after North Indian heroines who even though they don't know the language and acting. Telugu actress Sri Reddy recently made sensational comments on the Tollywood in a recent TV channel interview.
She said that several Telugu girls are trying to become heroines but the situations prevailing in the industry won't allow them to become heroines. She said that if the makers know that a girl speaks Telugu, they will not give her a heroine chance even if she 'compromises' on certain things. She said that Telugu girls also can appear glamorously but the makers will give them sidekick roles.
She even raised allegations on Tollywood that casting couch is prevalent in the industry and some top heroes, producers at like brokers. They not only 'use' girls but they send them to politicians for their personal gains.
While talking about the differences between North and South girls, she said that Telugu girls eat rice so they will be 'slightly' chubby when compared to North girls. As North girls eat chapatis they will be slim. That should not be a problem for casting Telugu girls as heroines.
