Temper lost Rs 8 crore because of it!: Senior Hero

'Temper' managed just close to Rs 45 crore share in its full run even though Jr NTR who played the film's lead had given his career-best performance and critics heaped praises on the solid script/fantastic treatment. A Family Hero-turned-Character Artiste is one among those countless people who believe the film actually under-performed at the Box Office inspite of having huge potential.

In a recent interview, Jagapathi Babu declared 'Temper' would have collected a share of at least Rs 8 crore more had if he played the role of the honest Police Officer (reprised by Posani Krishna Murali) in the movie. He has got a valid point to make such a statement - 'Heroism would have been elevated to a whole new level if a Senior Hero declines to salute a Star Hero like Tarak and then salute him later. Surely, It would have raised the figure by Rs 7-8 crore".

Jagapathi Babu feels TFI is still unable to come out of the mould to offer him the kind of roles he deserve. He claims to be open for taking up challenging roles and wishes to travel in the path of Amitabh, Praan and Prakash Raj.
