These days directors and Telugu music composers are more depending on copying the popular tunes as many people are coming out with the originals, even those who don't know that they have copied, are now looking at every tune, with suspicion. SS Thaman has become the composer who got caught most these days.
Once again, another SS Thaman's tune is being labelled as a copy. Before this he has been said, to have copied his tunes from popular Italian songs and also, old songs. His Gala Gala song from Race Gurram , Pilla Chav from Businessman have been the most popularly talked about.
Now, for his new song from Mahanubhavudu, the music director has said to have copied a tune from old Subhodayam movie. In the movie, "Ghandhamu Puyaru ga" composed by K.V. Mahadevan has been the most popular and that tune is said to be copied by Thaman for Mahanubhavudive song. Is this because he took the same raga or did he really think no one will catch it as it is an old film song?? We have to wait for Thaman's clarification regarding this.
