From the past few months, all the albums made by Thaman are becoming chartbusters and he became one of the most talented music composers. But, with 'Aravinda Sametha', Thaman is getting his old 'copycat' tag again.
As both 'Anaganaganaga' and 'Peniviti' songs music are similar to some other songs, the fans started trolling him. The netizens are firing that he is a copycat. However, Thaman who has been tight-lipped about these reacted on it. Recently, in an interview, "I didn't know that 'Aravinda Sametha' songs are similar to other songs until the people told me. I found out one thing. I have a style and all my songs will be in the same style. In fact, all the ragas are the same. But it is wrong to say it as a copy. My composition will be like that. Everyone has their own style and every music director has their own style. Mani Sharma, Koti Sir, S A Rajkumar sir, Devi Sri Prasad everyone has their own style. Just because I don't talk much, it's not correct to make the same comment again and again. " Said Thaman.
"Just let us live. If they're happy, I don't have any problem with that. My directors, producers and heroes trust in me. There is nothing I can lose with the criticism and there is nothing I can gain with the appreciation" added Thaman.
