100 Crore Punch: Pawan, Mahesh, Prabhas

Senior filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja never shies away to express his opinions. He talks on various topics ranging from small budget films to big star films. He used to talk in press meets earlier..but he started a You Tube channel recently and expressing his opinions, thanks to the social media.
He has recently spoken on the filmmakers who are claiming that they are making 100 crore budget films. Tammareddy said that "A star hero remuneration will be around Rs.20 to 25 crore.. director remuneration will be the same.. If we add the remunerations of heroines the figure will be touch Rs. 50 crore. As interests in film industry are very high, they have to pay 15 crore if they make a film for an year. They are shooting 150-200 days for a film. If we calculate Rs.15 lakhs per day expenditure, the total figure will be around Rs. 20 crore. Actual working days would be around 40 days. So, they are doing 40 days work in 200 days. If they complete the work in 40 days, the expenditure will be only Rs. 4- 5 crore. They are spending Rs. 4-5 on the making of the film and claiming that they are making Rs. 100 crore film."
Ever since Tammareddy came up with this kind of detailing.. there are discussions are going on in the social media that it the 100 crore punch is crazy projects like Mahesh Babu Murugadoss 'Spyder', Pawan-Trivikram film PSPK25, Prabhas-Sujith film 'Saaho'.. because the budget of all these films is crossing 100 crore.
Tammareddy is also saying that 40 films similar to 'Pelli Chupulu' can be made with 100 crore budget... even 40 films similar to 'Shatamanam Bhavati' can be made with such budget. He has requested the actors.. directors.. technicians to focus on this issue.
