Thanks to RRR USA planning, Spider-Man record broken

Team RRR has now released a new interview which is aimed at the overseas audience. In the video, Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan are seen speaking at length about the USA release prospects of RRR.
Going into the story, thanks to some excellent planning by RRR's USA distributor, Saregama Cinemas, RRR has broken Spider Man's record.
In the interview, Rajamouli speaks about a first of its kind record that has been established by RRR in the USA. "The record for the highest collections from the premieres in a single location in the USA was held by the latest outing from the Spider Man franchise.
But this record was broken by RRR back in December when we first opened the bookings. But sadly, the release plan was deferred due to the pandemic situation and we had to return all the ticket collections."
"I was then worried if we could break Spider Man's record when we went for a new release date. When I spoke with the distributor, Teju (Saregama Cinemas) recently, he said the film has already surpassed the tally and RRR is now the highest grossing (premieres) film in a single location in the USA."
Beating a Hollywood film in its own territory is no easy means and RRR has achieved the same, thanks to excellent planning from the distributor.
RRR has already grossed over $2.1 million from premieres pre-sales and it is expected to collect a whopping $3.5 million from the premieres alone. The film is set to post unprecedented numbers in the USA circuit.
