Trailer Talk: Thought-Provoking 'Thappad'!

Tapsee Pannu who made her debut in Tollywood has now settled in Bollywood. After doing some glamour doll kind of roles, she decided to change her path and attempted content-oriented films which brought her success. Her films 'Pink', 'Naam Shabana', 'Mulk', 'Badla' and 'Saand Ki Aankh' were well appreciated by the audience and critics as well.

Now, she is coming up with another thought-provoking film titled 'Thappad' (Slap) and the trailer was released recently. Tapsee plays the role of a regular housewife who leads a normal and happy life. Her complete life turns upside down and she begins to see the real colours of this society when her husband slaps her out of anger in the middle of a party. From then starts her journey to gain her lost self-respect. The trailer looks quite intriguing which shows how her own family tries to make her withdraw the case on her husband. The trailer is getting a response and Tapsee is getting a lot of accolades for her touching performance.

This film is directed by Anubhav Sinha who earlier directed acclaimed films like 'Mulk' and 'Article 15'. This film is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.
