'The Accidental Prime Minister' is a film based on the controversial book penned by former PM Manmohan Singh's media advisor Sanjaya Baru. Makers conveyed characters, events and incidents have been fictionalised for dramatisation, but the screenplay is no way different from what's written in the book.
Promo opens with Sonia Gandhi preferring Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister of India after UPA came back to power in 2004. The struggle Manmohan has to undergo when it comes to Nuclear Deal and Kashmir Issue is being presented. The highlight of all is the resignation offered by Manmohan Singh, and Sonia Gandhi questioning how could Rahul Gandhi take the reins when one scam after the other has been getting exposed.
Anupam Kher is perfect as Manmohan Singh. Casting for the roles of Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka has been pretty good. Vijay Ratnakar Gutte directed this controversial flick. Conversations between Manmohan-Sonia & Sanjaya Baru-Manmohan have really increased the curiosity of the people and they wish to know more about the Inside Story. January 11th, 2019 Release!
