We were aware that 'Pranam Khareedu' is the film which launched Chiranjeevi as an actor in Telugu Film Industry. Veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao had been instrumental in giving a platform for a 23-Year-Old to prove his mettle.
When Kranthi Kumar met Raghavendra Rao, The Seasoned Producer informed to the Filmmaker that Chiranjeevi was under consideration to play one of the five leads in 'Pranam Khareedu'. Upon finding lot of intensity in Chiru's eyes, KRR asked Kranthi Kumar to immediately sign the youngster for the movie. "Frankly speaking, I anticipated the success of Chiranjeevi as an actor much before his rise Super Stardom or Megastar," claims Raghavendra Rao.
Both Chiranjeevi and Raghavendra Rao have delivered several successful films like Rowdy Alludu, Gharana Mogudu and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. Even Today, They maintain a very healthy relationship off the screen and that's how great achievers lead by example.
