By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Oct 2018 9:36 AM GMTUntil few years ago, Telugu Films weren't able to compete with Bollywood Movies in the Overseas market. 'Baahubali' Franchise proved regional films can match and even surpass Hindi Films be it anywhere. Those who assumed that the good period of TFI began and ended with the epic war drama have been proven wrong.
The Year 2018 is a memorable one for Telugu Movies in Overseas Territory. Films such as 'Rangasthalam', 'Bharat Ane Nenu' and 'Aravindha Sametha' managed to collect more than what most Bollywood Star-Studded Films could achieve. Actually, NRIs hardly cater time for faction-backdrop films but the way they have been embracing 'Aravindha Sametha' surprised even trade pundicts.
Bollywood Trade Analysts have been offering utmost importance to the revenues generated by Telugu Films off late. A film like 'Aravindha Sametha' doing exceptionally well even in Australia and Dubai is a welcome sign.
Mahanati, Geetha Govindam and Goodachari are the other films which generated good revenues in Overseas this year. It's more like a domination of Telugu Films in this part of the World.
