Harish Shankar is definitely one of the highly talented directors in Tollywood. He is known for his brand of commercial entertainers and a lot of stars want to work with him. While the other star directors are working at a fast pace, Harish Shankar did not pick up the megaphone for three and half years. Despite his last film 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' which came out in 2019 ending up as a hit, he was forced to take this gap due to Pawan Kalyan,
He got a chance to work with his favourite hero Pawan Kalyan. They made blockbuster film 'Gabbar Singh' before and the expectations were high on their upcoming film. It was named 'Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh' and a few posters were also released. But Pawan's political commitments and his signing of other projects made things tough for Harish's film. The movie got shelved and Harish Shankar decided to remake the Tamil film 'Theri' as 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' with Pawan Kalyan. The opening ceremony was done a few weeks back but the shooting did not begin till date. Sources say that the shooting is finally going to begin now.
Pawan recently took a break from 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and worked on 'Vinodhaya Sitham' remake. The shooting of 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' is expected to start in March and it is expected to go on till the first week of April. After that, he will be going back to 'Vinodhaya Sitham' remake and Sujeeth's 'OG' will start later. Looks like Harish Shankar's long wait is finally coming to an end.
