There was a rumor long ago that all is not well between Nandamuri Balakrishna and Ravi Teja. Though we don't know the reality behind it, we have seen them indulge in box-office war many times before. Despite being a bigger hero than Ravi Teja, Balayya failed to dominate Mass Maharaj in the competition. They competed four times till date and Ravi Teja ended up as the winner every time.

Back in 2008, Ravi Teja came with his entertainer 'Krishna' and Balakrishna arrived at the same time with much-hyped 'Okka Magadu'. Ravi Teja won it fair and square. Balayya's 'Mithrudu' which came during the month of May next year too ended up as a failure. A week after that, Ravi Teja arrived with his 'Kick' and we all know how successful the film turned out to be. It ended up being one of the most memorable films in his career.

After two years, they both locked horns in the Sankranti race. Balakrishna released his 'Parama Veera Chakra' and Ravi Teja arrived with 'Mirapakay'. While Balayya's film was a disaster by epic proportions, Ravi Teja bagged a super hit. In 2013, Ravi Teja's 'Veera' earned a flop talk but got good collections while Balakrishna's 'Srirama Rajyam' which came at the same time won critical acclaim but failed to become a box-office success.

Though they arrived in the same months after that, they made sure that there was ample gap in between them to avoid competition. But they are going head-to-head once again this summer. Both Ravi Teja's 'Khiladi' and Balayya's film with Boyapati have announced that they are hitting the screens on 28th May. Ravi Teja was the first to reveal the release date and Balayya's film update came the immediate next day which raised a lot of eyebrows. Let us see who wins the race this time.
