If there is one thing that never gets old in Tollywood, it is the race for the number one spot. Years may pass, trends may change and everything gets shifted but the number race is the most common thing. Now we have a few heroes who are aiming for that spot. Let us take a look at them.
Pawan Kalyan is one hero with huge craze and following. After a gap of two years, he is all set to make his comeback with 'Vakeel Saab' and got to the top spot. All the fans have become alert and are trying hard to send their hero to the first place.
The other hero is Mahesh Babu who scored three successive hits recently. Despite being successful, none of them were record breakers. His close circles may claim that he is already in the number one spot but there is a lot of more to do for his handsome hero.
Allu Arjun who took a gap of 18 months recently came back with an industry hit like 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. He surpassed Mahesh in the Sankranti race and is hoping to reach the top spot by going ahead of Pawan Kalyan too. He is also planning to become a South Indian star and making suitable moves.
Jr.NTR is one mass hero who has been trying to reach the spot from the last 17 years. He hasn't had a single failure since 2015 but he never reached near to the top spot. Maybe working with Rajamouli may bring luck to him.
Ram Charan who scored an industry hit with the help of Rajamouli's 'Magadheera' took a lot of time to get out of the commercial mould. He scored another industry hit with 'Rangasthalam' but it may take a long time for this star hero to reach that position.
Prabhas is a hero who has all the records written in his name and has tremendous following but keeps releasing one film for every 2-3 years which keeps him out of consideration.
