Ajay Bhupathi The name needs no big introduction as his work has spoken so much all these days. The RX 100 director has revealed the best compliments he received for the movie and what all made him to write such a violent love story-Here are the excerpts.
Rx 100 is my personal life story. When I was working for the film 'Attack' with director Ram Gopal Varma, I got betrayed in love and my lover left me all alone. I went into depression and thus couldn't concentrate on my work for about three months or so.
At this moment one my close friends said- Creative people make use of the tragedy in their life for a movie and gave me a hint that's when I wanted to write my story and it went on. I finished the story and went to many producers but none gave me an opportunity.
It was Ashok Gummakonda who already lost few bucks with 'Prematho Mee Karthik' gave me the opportunity. The film worked well at the Box Office starring Karthikeya Gummakonda who became a wannabe star in Tollywood.
Through my friends I came to know that my lover watched the film and commented 'That's a Film and He is a director' expressing displeasure. One guy commented under the RX 100 trailer in you tube saying 'You are the gem among men'. The director said that these two are the best compliments I have received for my film.
RX 100 went to make big profits for the makers and it is getting remade in Hindi, Tamil and other languages too.
