Tholiprema Opens Big For Varun!

Varun Tej, latest scion from Mega clan, wanted to establish his name separately from his famous uncles, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.
He took on different scripts and more classy films than massy ones. After Loafer and Mister debacles, he seems to have found his strength with Fidaa and Tholiprema already got him a good opening.
With positive feedback from critics and positive response from audiences, the movie looks to be another major success for the actor. The movie opened with 9.52 crores gross on the first day, Saturday release.
His previous highest, Fidaa opened with 8.45 crores gross. But in two Telugu states, Tholiprema fell just behind Fidaa with 5.2 crores gross whereas Fidaa, collected 5.5 crores gross.
Share from two Telugu states stands at 3.17 crores and US gross stands at 550k USD, including premieres and Saturday collection. The movie did not release on Friday.
