Those 9 Months Were Tough: Anushka

Mangalore beauty Anushka has been in the Industry for 9 years now and she is still able to remain on top with promising films opposite top stars like Rajinikanth, Ajith and Prabhas. The leggy lass explains she has faced a lot of hardships to reach this stage and would never take anything for granted.
Anushka: "Initially, I was hesitant to choose acting as my career. It was only after my well-wishers encouraged me to take up acting, I went for auditioning of 'Super'. I came to Hyderabad in December 2004. Even a single shot wasn't picturized on me till 9 months after I signed the project. That was the most toughest phase! Still, I used to go to sets every day and wait for my turn. Unit Members even thought I might be working in direction department or handling production at that time. All my apprehensions have disappeared with the first scene shot on me. That's the story behind my first experience before the camera."
On the other hand, Anushka have no plans to quit acting any time soon and her manager refuted rumors of marriage in the near future. Post completion of Baahubali, Lingaa, Rudramadevi and Ajith-Gautham Menon's film, She will be working for a woman-centric flick 'Bagamathi' for 'Mirchi' producers.
